Ukraine plans to start electric bus manufacturing

Kyiv plans to start electric bus manufacturing – Alexander Popov, Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, has declared.

“This production is going to be virtually completely Ukrainian, even the engines. The only exception – we will install imported accumulators. We want to set up he production here”, – Head of the KCSA has noted.

According to him, the pilot bus will be launched in 2-3 months already.

The pilot vehicle will be assembled at the facilities of the Kyiv communal company “Kyivpastrans”. In future the partner may be reconsidered.
