No incidents during yesterday's protests in Sofia
The fifth day of protests in Bulgaria, demanding the resignation of the Oresharski cabinet, passed with no incidents. According to the Ministry of the Interior the protesting were around 7 000 people.
According to NGOs the protesting were a lot more. The multitude marched along the capital’s main boulevards to the headquarters of the GERB party and the Bulgarian Sofialist Party (BSP), where they voiced their opposition to the rule in the country. Nine persons have been detained.
Some were carrying knoves and other obects prohibited for use during mass gatherings and demonstrations. There were also people who had no identity papers on them. With the aid of the citizenship certain groups were localized and identified as groups preparing to stir disorder. Today protests continue.
