Number of young Russian citizens to reduce by 7 million in 10 years
According to forecasts, the number of young Russian citizens will be reduced by 7 million in the next 10 years, reaching 25 million people.
Such forecast has been announced by the Manager of the Federal Youth Agency Sergey Belokonev at the meeting of the board at the Russian Ministry of Education and Science.
According to the State Statistics Agency, in 2012 there were 31.6 million young people at the age of 15 to 29 years. In 2011 this number was 32.4 million, while in 2009 – 33.7 million.
In the process of the survey, conducted earlier by the analytical center of Yuri Levada, it has been established that 45% of Russian students and pupils would like to move outside the ex-USSR territory for the permanent residence.
