Georgia takes part in “Black Sea Hawk 2013” international exercises
Georgian coast guard vessel P-24 “Sukhumi” will participate in the “Black Sea Hawk 2013” international exercises, which will take place in Bulgaria on July 2-4, 2013.
In addition to Georgia, the list of the exercises’ participants will include coast guard departments of Turkey, Romania, Russia, and Ukraine.
“Sukhumi” vessel will take part in practical training both in virtual and real environments. The list of major objectives of these exercises includes the improvement of information exchange between the coast guards of the Black Sea region countries, ensuring of navigation safety, carrying out of joint search-and-rescue operations, etc.
