Black Sea Shipyard started repairs of “Hetman Sahaydachniy” frigate
The Black Sea Shipyard (Mykolaiv) has commenced the repairs of the Ukrainian Navy flagship - “Hetman Sahaydachniy” frigate.
The first stage of the repair works, which are carried out at its location in Sevastopol, is scheduled for completion by the time the vessel leaves for the next international navy exercises “Sea Breeze 2013”.
Conducting these repairs, the Black Sea Shipyard will restore the mechanics of the vessel, namely: cooling devices of the air conditioning units and instrument ventilation, cooling machines of the food storage rooms, and cylinders for chemical fire suppression in confined spaces. In addition to that, there are plans to replace the existing water-desalinating plant with an up-to-date analogue.
