International wine and grapes contest opened in Yalta
The opening ceremony of the international contest of wines, cognacs, Champaign wines, fruit and berry wines, and spirits “Yalta. Golden Griffin – 2013” took place in Yalta at the “Magarach” National Grapes and Wine Institute on July 3.
The contest has been organized by the Ukrainian National Agricultural Science Academy, “Magarach” Institute along with the Crimean Winemakers Union, and the Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
This contest is conducted for the 34th time. The list of participants includes representatives of winemaking companies from seven countries of Europe and Asia, including 50 producers and more than 200 products.
