Romania to provide 5,500 scholarships for Moldovans in academic year 2013-2014

Romania will provide 5,500 scholarships for Moldovan citizens in the academic year 2013-2014.

The Education Ministry has said most scholarships, 3,300, are offered for the first-cycle higher education. Another 1,500 Moldovans will be able to get scholarships for Romanian pre-university institutions. As many as 550 scholarships are provided for post-graduate education and could be obtained by holders of Romanian university degree diplomas. At the same time, Romania provides 125 scholarships for a doctor’s degree and 25 resident scholarships.

The educational methodology, which contains the list of the documents needed for application, distribution according to specialties and education institutions may be found on the web page web http://www.edu.ro/index.php/articles/20100. The acts will be sent to the Romanian consulates from Cahul, Balti and Chisinau during 22 July – 3 August.
