From now on Ukrainian hotels must place the category signs at their facades
On July 3, 2013 the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministries adopted the Resolution “On approval of the procedure for informing of consumers on the type of tourism infrastructure facility and its category”, according to which all hotels and other tourism infrastructure facilities of Ukraine must place the category signs at their facades.
According to the Ministry of Infrastructure press service, implementation of requirements of this resolution will ensure the free access of consumers to the information on the tourism infrastructure facility type and category. To ensure this, the official website of the State Agency on Resorts and Tourism will have the Register of certificates on categories of tourism infrastructure facilities, which can be accessed free of charge. At the same time the owner of any tourism infrastructure facility shall be obliged, within 30 days from the issuance of the certificate, place the category signs at the facility’s facade.
