Ukraine offers Moldovan students 100 scholarships
The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine offered Moldovan students 100 scholarships for studying in higher education institutions, in 2013.
According to the Ukrainian Embassy in Chisinau, the candidates must present documents on the full completion of secondary-level education with marks that are not lower than “excellent” and “good”. Moreover, they must receive a study recommendation from the Moldovan Ministry of Education.
The candidates will have to personally go to the chosen Ukrainian university, in the period August 25 - August 31 and to present there the original authenticated and legalized documents. The selected candidates will be enrolled under a decree issued by the higher education institution, on the basis of the decision of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
The Ukrainian authorities will provide the selected students with free-of-charge studies in universities, scholarships in the amount equal to the one established for Ukrainian students, accommodations in student hostels, as well as medical care in line with the Ukrainian legislation. Yet, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine will not cover the travel expenses and will not redeem the scholarships to the expelled students.
