Another Russian Black Sea fleet training at the Crimean territory: Russian machinery landing operation at the Opuk Cape / Photos
According to the press service of the Southern Military District at the Russian Federation Ministry of Defense, the detached marines’ brigade of the Black Sea fleet finishes the preparation for a long-term field voyage to the Opuk marine landing ground near Feodosiya.
On July 31 “Novorossiysk” tank landing ship delivered the machinery and personnel from the material and technical support battalion and engineering company to the field training location, which started the development of the camp base and preparation of the machinery for operation in field conditions.
In several days the servicemen of the landing and assault battalion and other brigade units will be transported to Opuk.
The field ground will be used for practical training of approximately 600 marines and more than 100 machinery units.
