This was discussed during the signing of a Memorandum of understanding between Ukraine and China on Tuesday, the Agricultural Policy and Food Ministry's press service informs about this.
“As concerns today's signing of the Memorandum, I would like to note a high perspective of this direction. Therefore, I would like that the two sides came to this with maximum responsibility,” Minister Mykola Prysiazhniuk has said.
During a meeting with the Chinese-Ukrainian Association for International Projects and the China's Foreign Economic Cooperation Corporation, the Minister also noted that today development of cooperation with China in agriculture is very active. This will also be promoted by signing of the Memorandum in the sphere of fishing.
“The Memorandum will help attracting high-level professionals to development and implementation of this project. And our common task is to do so that the project was successful with taking into consideration a geographic location of Crimea,” the official noted.
In turn, the Chinese side showed an interest in cooperation with Ukraine, including in the fishing sphere, as well as noted the perspective of the joint implementation of the project.
In addition, the Chinese took interest in development of cooperation between China and Ukraine in agriculture at three levels.
