Russian shipyards secured contracts for construction of 45 civil vessels for over RUB 200 bln
Russian shipyards have secured contracts for construction of 45 civil vessels with total value exceeding RUB 200 bln, IAA PortNews journalist cites Boris Kabanov, representative of RF Ministry of Industry and Trade, as saying at the 2nd Marine Business Forum Germany-Russia in Saint-Petersburg.
According to him, these vessels include 5 tankers of project RST-27, 14 marine and river passenger hydrofoils, 5 air cavity cargo-passenger vessels, 10 catamarans for 150 passengers, 2 scientific-research vessels for the Arctic, modernization of a floating drilling facility Obsky-1, 1 nuclear icebreaker, 4 diesel icebreakers, floating nuclear power plant unit, two floating floating drilling platforms CS-50.
Total demand of Russia’s major customers numbers 1,200 vessels and marine facilities to be built by 2030.
