OSCE Baku office gets new status

The status of the OSCE Office in Baku will be changed, head of the office, Koray Targay told journalists on November 26.

"As from January 1, 2014, the OSCE Office in Baku will be operating under the status of project coordinator," Targay said.

According to the office head, this decision was taken on July 26 at the OSCE Permanent Council.

"Discussions are underway between OSCE Vienna Secretariat and Azerbaijan in this regard. Discussions have not yet been completed," Koray Targay said.
