Azerbaijan can launch first investment fund next year

Azerbaijan can launch first investment fund next year, said the State Committee for Securities chief of staff Bakhtiyar Azizov.

The committee has received one appeal on registration of investment funds so far and that appeal is considered. At the same time, the committee has received some unofficial appeals and SCS assessed it as an interest for establishment of investment funds I Azerbaijan.

Currently, the managing company of the investment fund which was appealed for registration has already obtained a license. Head of Licensing and Supervision Department at State Committee for Securities Farid Rahimli said that the registration process of the investment funds is carried out under the considered stages.
