SOCAR invites Turkish banks for investment projects

President of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev has met top managers of Turkish banks İşbank, Finansbank, Garanti Bankı, Ziraat Bankı, Vakıfbank, TSKB, Yapıkredi, Denizbank, Unikredit, TEB, Akbank and Halkbank to discuss their part in investment projects.

Abdullayev told them about the history of petroleum developments in Azerbaijan, establishment of SOCAR and investments projects of the company in Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Romania, Switzerland and other countries. They include construction of a gas refinery and a petrochemical complex in Azerbaijan, shipbuilding factory, TANAP and Petkim.
