In January-February, 2013 Moldova saw the highest growth in the volume of cargo transportation among CIS
According to the Statistic Committee of CIS, in January-February, 2013 an amount of cargo transportation increased 17.1% in Moldova as compared with the same period of the past year.
Within first 2 months of 2013 three more states saw the growth in cargo transportation: Kazakhstan (8.4%); Azerbaijan (6%) and Kyrgyzstan (5.7%). In the rest of the states the declining trends were recorded: The cargo transportation fell 7.3% in Armenia, 3.2% in Russia, 2% in Belarus, 1.4% in Tajikistan and 1.3% in Ukraine.
Information on Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan for this period is missing. The average amount of cargo transportation among CIS increased 2% ova as compared with the same period of the past year. In January-February, 2012 the growth equalled to 9.7% as compared with the same period of 2011.
