Tourism offices note the growing demand for recreation in the Crimea

Resort and tourism offices, open in Ukraine and other CIS countries, note the growth in sales for Crimean destinations.

According to the Crimean Deputy Minister of Resorts and Tourism Olga Burova, this trend is connected with active promotion of the Crimean tourism products in the media, participation in specialized regional exhibitions, and conduct of training for tour agents.

According to her, nowadays there are 8 resort and tourism offices operating in Ukraine, Russia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, and Latvia. At that, the largest number of offices has been opened at the Russian Federation territory.

Six new Crimean resort and tourism offices are scheduled for opening in 2013.
