Over 200 bachelors from 18 countries and 21 masters receive diplomas from American University in Bulgaria

At a solemn ceremony, 201 bachelors from 18 countries received their business diplomas from the American University in Bulgaria in the presence of their relatives, business representatives, lecturers and public figures.

Along with them, 21 alumni from the masters program in business administration for leading personnel also celebrated their graduation on the Georgi Izmirliev central square in the town of Blagoevgrad. 40% of the 2013 graduates are Bulgarians and the rest of them are young people form other countries. The honorary speaker of the ceremony- the world famous scientist Carl Djerassy, also known as the father of the contraceptive pill, placed among the 30 greatest people of last millennium, was honored with the honorary title Doctor Honoris Cause of the American University in Bulgaria.
