The chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party (PLDM), Vlad Filat, (PLDM), on May 10, 2013 held a meeting with US Ambassador to Moldova William Moser and ambassadors of the European Union members states accredited in Moldova, according to a PLDM press release.
The officials discussed the social and political situation in Moldova in the context of the latest amendments operated by the parliament in the national legislation.
Filat explained the Liberal Democrats position as regards the adopted bills and assured that Moldova’s European integration was and would continue to be the PLDM’s number one priority.
Filat assured the diplomats that the interim government, headed by Iurie Leanca, would speed up the implementation of the European reforms agenda in order to consolidate the rule of law state.
