Day-time air temperature expected to reach 31 degrees in Moldova

The State Hydro-meteorological Service has forecast a maximal day-time air temperature of up to 31 degrees on 12-18 September.

The first deputy director of the service, Elina Plesca, has said that at night, the air temperature will vary between +7 and +12 degrees and between +22 and +27 degrees during the day.

No essential precipitation is expected on 13-18 September, except isolated showers in the northern districts on 15 and 16 September.

On 13-18 September, the minimal night-time air temperature will increase from +9 and +14 degrees to +12 and +17 degrees, to gradually decrease to +7 and +12 degrees by the end of the period.

The maximal day-time air temperature will increase from +24 and +28 degrees to +26 and +31 degrees on 13-15 September. On 16-18 September, the temperature will oscillate between +20 and +26 degrees.
