Yerevan opens Journalism Mastery School
Yerevan is hosting the Journalism Mastery School organized by the North-South Center for Political Analysis and RIA Novosti. It will operate for 5 days.
The school is aimed at improving professional skills of young journalists, updating the media space of Armenia. Notorious Russian and Armenian journalists will hold master classes.
Alexey Vlasov, Executive Director of the North South Center for Political Analysis and Editor-in-Chief of Vestnik Kavkaza, said that Russia has a goal to form communications in economy, security and humanitarian field. The non-governmental role in the process rises, he believes.
The expert added that young journalists will have an opportunity to present their works to Russian readers.
Russian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Armenia Vyacheslav Kovalenko said that the school will improve the skills of Armenian journalists, News Armenia reports.
Baku hosted the School of Journalism Master in mid-November. New works of Russian historians were presented at the Russian Book House in Baku with the help of the History Faculty of the MSU named after Lomonosov.
