ASAIF launches forum in Rome

The forum of the Azerbaijani youth organization, ASAIF, started on March 28, 2013 in Rome. The main objective of the forum is the unification of Azerbaijani youth studying in prestigious universities of the world, the effective organization of propaganda of Azerbaijan abroad, exchange of information, support for youth in the implementation of interactive propaganda of the republic, creating conditions for rapid addressing youth problems, networking between officials and young people in order to facilitate dialogue, providing a platform for the dissemination of years of experience, as well as increase in activity of youth in the development of Azerbaijani-Italian relations, News.az reports.

The event involves 550 Azerbaijani from 45 countries, as well as over 20 Italians representing different influential youth organizations. The opening ceremony was addressed by Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Minister Azad Rahimov, chief of the social analysis and information provision department of the Azerbaijani Presidential Administration Elnur Aslanov, Deputy Education Minister Gulu Novruzov, Azerbaijani Ambassador to Italy Vagif Sadigov, chairman of the Azerbaijan-Italy Association Paola Casagrande and head of the Azerbaijani-Italian Trade Institute Maulea Traldi.

The forum is attended by representatives of the State Oil Fund, the Centre for Strategic Studies, Milli Majlis, Azerbaijani diplomatic corpses in foreign countries, the Nagorno-Karabakh Community of Azerbaijan Republic and many state officials.
