Azerbaijan's GDP grows by 3.8%

Azerbaijan's GDP made AZN 17.2bn in January-April 2013.This is a 3.8% growth over the same period of 2012, says a report in the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
51.3% of GDP was formed at the cost of industry, 9% in construction sector, 7.8% in transport, 2.5% in agriculture, 1.8% in communication, 12.7% in other spheres, 6.7% of net taxes for production and import, 1news.az reports.
As of 1 May 2013, per capita GDP reached AZN 1,861.9 or $2,372.8.
Nonoil GDP has grown by 10.9% over the same period of 2012.
In 2012, the volume of Azerbaijani GDP made AZN 54bn which is a 2.2% growth over 2011.
Nonoil GDP has risen by 9.7% over 2011 and its share in the overall volume of GDO has grown from 48.8% to 52.7%.
